eSEED is a software development company that specializes on startup product development. We work with aspiring startups and help them build their products using best practices and strong standards.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic product owner who is passionate about working on diverse projects with a remote team.

  1. Contract: Full Time
  2. Location: 100% remote anywhere in Egypt
  3. Time Commitment: 40 hours per week, distributed over 7 days a week. Distribution is fairly flexible and little to no work is required on Saturdays and Sundays. Overtime is compensated at a higher rate per month.
  4. Projects: startup products (web and mobile applications)
  5. You will be working with: web and mobile application feature analysis, user story development, and stakeholder management. Previous experience in a product capacity is required.
  6. This is a diversified role. You will sometimes be required to perform tasks outside of the job description. We consider this a huge learning opportunity.

What you will do:

  1. Gather, document and understand requirements from clients in detail via chat, email and online meetings (some clients are English-speaking only)
  2. Write comprehensive, clear and validated user stories, tasks, acceptance criteria, and test cases to be worked on by developers
  3. Perform manual User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on multiple environments to ensure tasks are delivered as per requirements and test cases
  4. Write user experience journeys, task life cycle documents and submit reports and documentation based on requirements
  5. Own product Kanban. Refine, prioritize, clarify and assign tasks according to directives and developer availability
  6. Communicate updates with clients and create progress reports when needed
  7. Use Figma to build pre-designed views for client approval using pre-built Figma assets (no design capabilities needed)
  8. Filter applicant CVs, communicate with them through selection processes and assist in hiring process management and selection

Profile Requirements:

  1. Fluent command of written and spoken English. This will be assessed in the selection process.
  2. Very strong writing skills. Impecable spelling and grammar are a must.
  3. Strong attention to detail. Strong discipline in follow up and communication.
  4. High sense of structure and organization
  5. Bsc. in Computer Science or related discipline OR relevant post-graduate course/degree OR at least 1 year relevant professional experience
  6. Consistent, available, and clear verbal and written communication are a must.
  7. Ability to work independently and ask the right questions

Compensation Approach:

Our ranges are established after performing market research but the specific compensation amount of the offer will be determined based on relative experience and skills the team.
